The Ormánság Health Center and the Baranya County Government Office, acting as a consortium, have been awarded a non-repayable European Union grant of 225 million forints under the TOP_PLUSZ-3.3.2-21-BA1, “Development of Local Health and Social Infrastructure,” under the Regional and Municipal Development Operational Program Plus. Thanks to the project, the quality of healthcare for residents of the municipality and those covered by the regional healthcare obligation will improve. The quality of specialized outpatient care will also be enhanced by the infrastructure development and equipment procurement planned in the grant application.
The Ormánság Health Center’s grant application titled “Development of the Sellye Health Center” was approved on December 21, 2022. The grant agreement entered into force on March 17, 2023. Following the project preparation phase, the construction contract with the winning contractor will be signed on May 16, 2025, after which the substantive part of the project can begin.

As a result of the project, the number of clinics offering specialized healthcare services will increase. It will improve the infrastructure in the fields of therapeutic exercise, therapeutic massage, and physical therapy, which are typically characterized by high utilization rates. It also contributes to the cost-effective operation of the building, thanks to energy efficiency upgrades (installation of a solar panel system, improvement of the heat pump system control).
