The aim of the project is to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention in Baranya County, with a particular focus on sports and parasports, through comprehensive programs that reach a broad segment of the population. The target area is the entire county, excluding the FVS cities (Pécs, Komló, Mohács).
The primary beneficiaries of the project are groups facing inequality (particularly women and the elderly), followed by people with disabilities, those living in extreme poverty, and Roma; the potential size of the target group is approximately 120,000 people.
The program aligns with the objectives of TOP Plus, particularly with regard to improving access to services and strengthening social inclusion; expected outcomes include improved access in 140 municipalities and reaching thousands of disadvantaged participants.
The interventions align with the “active inclusion” objective of the TOP Plus OP4: they promote social inclusion and employability through health promotion, particularly among disadvantaged groups.
