The program aims to facilitate entry into and re-entry into the labor market in Baranya County, thereby strengthening the region’s economy. The program is implemented by the county government office in cooperation with the district offices.
Who from the target group eligible for employment support can participate?
- Job seekers over the age of 50
- Those returning to work after GYED/GYES (as well as CSED, GYET, GYOD, and nursing allowance), including single parents
- Inactive persons (those who have not worked in the past 3 months, have had no regular income, and have not—or only occasionally—searched for work)
The program aims to help them find employment through personalized services and support.

- Job fairs are organized and hosted by the government office.
Grants
- Wage subsidy: up to 50% of the wages of a hired employee who is disadvantaged or has a reduced work capacity, but not exceeding 150% of the minimum wage, for a maximum of 6 months, with no obligation to continue employment (available under a block exemption regulation or as de minimis aid). The amount of the subsidy is based on the actual wages paid.

The IR identification number required for administrative procedures is issued by the competent district office. If the work spans multiple counties, the employment may also be reported to the competent authority based on the location where the employment begins, the registered office, or the branch office.
