Embark on your entrepreneurial journey with confidence! The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s “Step Zero” program is a a practical course and national roadshow for young people aged 17–25 that helps them launch their first business—it is particularly useful for those who plan to take out a business loan to cover their startup costs. The training is complemented by a mentoring program, for which participants in the events can apply with a business plan.
What does the program offer?
- Practical knowledge of the key steps in starting a business: idea validation, business planning, finances, and legal and administrative tasks.
- Authentic examples and community: stories from successful entrepreneurs, Q&A sessions, and networking.
- Mentoring: After completing the training sessions, you can join the mentoring program with a business plan.
Who is this for?
- For high school graduates who want to start a business.
- For those who already have the idea and the drive but lack practical guidance on how to get started.
Instructors and course materials
The roadshow will be led by a team of experienced experts and entrepreneurs, and educational materials will also be available to help participants organize and summarize what they’ve learned. The instructors’ profiles and the course materials are available on the event page.

Registration is required to attend. You can reserve a spot at your chosen venue after filling out the required information on the registration form. Acceptance of the privacy policy and the terms and conditions of participation is a prerequisite for attendance.
