At the opening conference in Pécs on September 23, participants will have the opportunity to learn in detail about the B Light 2 program and the terms of the first call for proposals. This can be particularly useful for businesses that are already considering cross-border cooperation or would like to assess whether their own development plans align with the program.
One of the key requirements of the call for proposals is that the partnership must include at least one Hungarian and one Croatian company. The event may therefore be a good opportunity for those who are still looking for the right Croatian business partner.
Following lunch, the event will continue with a B2B matchmaking session organized in collaboration with the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which will provide participating companies with the opportunity to meet potential Hungarian and Croatian business partners and lay the groundwork for future cross-border collaborations.
The Baranya County Development Agency Nonprofit Ltd. is participating as a regional partner in the implementation of the B Light 2 program, making it a direct opportunity for businesses in Baranya County to establish cross-border business relationships.
The application documents for the call for proposals are now available on the official website of the Interreg Hungary–Croatia Program. Applications are expected to be accepted starting September 24, 2026, and the submission period is expected to last two months.
